Teacher

„Art is a perennial effort to conquer all that is infirm, flawed and underdeveloped, a search for an ever more perfect form and ever fuller expression.”

Karol Szymanowski

Teaching is an extremely important area of my professional life. I owe so much to my Teachers, Professors and Masters who passed on to me the invaluable knowledge and successful tools to achieve mastery. For more than 10 years now I have been regularly working with students, which is an ideal way to share my knowledge with them and create an inspiring environment to exchange ideas.

At present, I am a Professor of the Fryderyk Chopin Music University holding a Habilitated Doctor of Musical Arts degree and a faculty member of the Young Talents „Brzewski” Music School in Warsaw. I also lecture and give masterclasses in many parts of Poland and abroad. In recent years I have also been invited by American universities such as UCLA in Los Angeles, NEC and MIT in Boston as well as Asian music conservatories including Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenyang, and conservatories in South America: Santiago de Chile and São Paulo in Brazil.

Educational meetings with highly talented young musicians in Poland are of particular significance to me. I teach at frequent workshops in elementary and secondary music schools as well as give demonstration classes in music academies in Gdańsk, Wrocław and Katowice. Masterclasses are another opportunity to meet young artists. For a few years now I have collaborated closely with the Winter Music Academy in Lusławice, Zenon Brzewski International Music Courses in Łańcut, Morningside Music Bridge in the USA and Tadeusz Wroński International Violin Courses in Nałęczów among others.
